Karibou was born from the belief that a motorcycle journey is far more than roads and scenery. It is an encounter. With wild nature, with different cultures, with the motorcycle beneath you – and with yourself.
When we ride, everything becomes sharper. The scent of the earth, the sounds of the road, the rhythm of the machine, and your breath inside the helmet. The ride becomes a language, and the road becomes a story written together.
We create motorcycle adventures with meaning. Journeys that connect precise riding, local culture, food, breathtaking landscapes, and real time to simply be present. Journeys where you do not just move from place to place, but truly feel every kilometer.

Hagit Shapira
Every once in a while you meet a person who you think must have been first in line when the "Gods" were handing out all the good traits. And when you encounter one you have a choice; either admire them from a far or embrace and recruit them to your team. Hagit Shapira (A K.A. HaGyver) is one of those people. So without even a second of hesitation we immediately snatched her up and the Karibou family is better for it! Besides brains, wit, humor, patience and just all around cool swagger; Hagit brings with her extensive knowledge as a professional mechanic and years of experience riding every terrain as an Adventure rider. And as if all that is not enough, what we love most about her is her undeniable passion and unwavering dedication that she brings to everything and everyone in our moto-universe. It is not by accident that everyone is always a little bit more relaxed when she is around. But we warn you...dont be fooled by her serious professionalism, cause she is also a serious good time!! That's how we do it around here, only the best of the best and we wont settle for anything less! Hagit joining our karibou herd is definately part of that philosophy! So very excited to crown her with antlers both as tour support and as tour leader!
Sharon Avraham
Sharon brings with him over 20 years of experience as an advanced riding instructor. Over the years, he has trained all kinds of riders and every riding style — from everyday civilians to the top-gun elite of special forces, on-road, on tracks, and in every kind of terrain. He's the real deal - a true professional! Sharon may look rough and tough on the outside, but anyone who knows him knows he wears his heart on his sleeve — full of passion, authenticity, sensitivity, and total dedication to others. That’s one of the reasons why everyone who meets him — man, woman, child, or even animal — instantly falls in love with him. Sharon will lead Karibou’s Adventure Tour Program: scouting, creating, planning, supporting, and guiding epic adventure rides all over the world When you join one of these rides, you’re not just getting Karibou’s signature hospitality and attention to detail — you’re also getting the guidance, coaching, and leadership of one of the most experienced riders and instructors in the field. As a true teacher at heart, Sharon will also create riding training opportunities for our groups, private riders, and even keep our own team sharp and precise on the bike! As a leader, he’s not there to show what he can do — but to show you what YOU can do! And that makes all the difference! At Karibou, we believe that the way you do one thing is the way you do everything. Karen Kobrowski
Just a small town girl...living in a crazy world. Born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago, Mamma of two strong little women, professional Designer and Certified International Tour Guide with years of experience successfully leading, supporting and managing dozens of motorcycle tours all around the world throughout Europe, South Africa, The Canadian Rockies, The Colorado Rockies and basically any place where there are mountains. A motorcycle rider to my very core, always striving to improve my skills whether off-road dirt biking, on the race track, touring or adventure riding. As long as its on 2 wheels, I want more of it! But it is the mountains combined with riding that really move me, and it is where I have found my true passion and purpose. Something so amazing happens while touring through endless mountain landscapes. There is a shift, and I'm not referring to the gears on the bike. Besides it being breathtakingly beautiful and the rush of adrenaline, something genuinely moves inside you. Feeling so small amongst the wonders of the rugged geography, and simultaneously larger than life as you have truly connected and become one with nature, the road, the machine and especially yourself. That's the essence of what motorcycle touring is for me. More than just tours through beautiful landscapes, they are meaningful journeys of self-discovery. And so it is my mission to lead you there and make sure it doesn't go unnoticed. And then we "dance" on the mountain!...on every mountain!
Yasmin Segev
Yasmin is the organizational force behind the scenes at Karibou, making sure every trip runs smoothly and precisely from beginning to end. In her role as Logistics Manager, she is responsible for coordinating and organizing all the details that turn each journey into a seamless experience. Yasmin brings exceptional resourcefulness and a strong solution oriented mindset. She approaches every task with determination, creativity, and calm, qualities that are essential in the dynamic world of motorcycle travel. Beyond that, she is also incredibly funny, sharp, quick, and witty, which makes working alongside her just as enjoyable as it is professional. Beyond her professional abilities, Yasmin also brings the perspective of a rider. She first joined Karibou as a client on the Alps trip and experienced the full Karibou journey herself. Her connection to the spirit of the brand was so deep that she chose to tattoo it on her arm in her own playful version: a cat with Karibou horns. Outside the motorcycle world, Yasmin works as a veterinary nurse and has a deep love for animals, which makes her a natural part of the Karibou family. With a passion for adventure and an exceptional talent for organization, Yasmin plays a key role in creating unforgettable experiences for every rider who joins us.
Saar Okashi
They say that all good things come in small packages, and there is no exception here. With a heart that big you can’t help but wonder if there is any room for much more. But WOW is there ever! Saar is the guy every rider (and guide) wants nearby. Since his adolescence he has been tearing up the trails on two wheels. Motorcycle riding is in his blood, it is his passion and he understands what you need on your ride way before you do. He is also an amateur chef and can whip up a meal anywhere, anytime with any ingredients. Come on! What more do you need? …and that is just the practical side. The main reason we are thrilled to have him with us, is because he is a true friend, in every sense of the word, in addition to being a S#%TLOAD of fun! We are very lucky to have him with us, and so are you!
Yakir Benveniste
He is Israeli. He is Italian. He is most recently Portuguese. He is a professional photographer, an entrepreneur, a fashion designer, a father, a partner a man of so many talents and identities…But what he truly is, is a good soul! Yakir has joined Karibou as Tour Support Manager. A position we consider to be critical for carrying out the Karibou vision of impeccable service that is the perfect mix of professionalism, passion and heart! And boy does he fill this position BIG TIME! His contribution has well surpassed expectations of the highest standard and has taken this role to a whole new level that there is no coming back from! We are thrilled to have Yakir join Karibou as a permanent pack support member, and on your next tour, you sure will be too!

Not only going the extra mile in making sure you are happy and satisfied, but also making sure that every aspect of your experience with Karibou is positive, pleasant, and met with only smiles right from our first contact, during the motorcycle tour and well beyond.
With more than 25 years’ experience in the service industry, it has become part of my DNA, and I am passionate about serving the riding community.
Over the years, you have told me what you expect, what worked, what didn’t work. I listened very closely and have made sure it is implemented in every part of Karibou.
Experience
6+ years’ experience planning, leading, supporting and managing dozens of successful motorcycle tours all around the world, with over tens of thousands of kilometers and hundreds of happy clients (riding family) .
From short 6 day tours on asphalt to 13 days of adventure riding and everything in between, I have “seen it all” and this experience is key! Not just in planning and dealing with the expected, but it is most essential in finding swift solutions when the unexpected happens.

Although motorcycle riding and world travel is a passion, it is not a hobby but a profession! One that entails years of training, practice, and continued commitment and formal qualification.

High Saftey Standard
Our slogan, “We don’t want to ride like there is no tomorrow, cause we want to ride tomorrow as well!”
• Karibou Guide extensively trained in riding safety.
• Daily briefings on riding-safety guidelines.
• Daily bike safety checklist
• All our routes have been pre-assessed for risk and safety with an emergency plan in place.
• Only top-of-the-line motorcycle suppliers with well maintained bikes meeting all the safety requirements.
• Support vehicle on every tour with necessary equipment.
Support
With every single tour without exception, you have full support! This will carry all your luggage as well as essentials, tools, medical kit (in addition to the one carried by the lead guide), cold drinks and snacks. There is always a spare seat for any pillion that may want to take a break.
The support vehicle will travel behind the group for most of the tour, with the exception of when on occasion, picnic lunches are to be prepared. In this case the vehicle will be ahead of the group so that the lunch is made and prepared by the arrival time of the group.
It is always the goal of the support vehicle to arrive at the hotel prior to the group in order to send the luggage to the rooms and have much needed beers waiting for the group upon parking the bikes.

A portion of the proceeds from every motorcycle tour participant goes directly to the Make-A-Wish foundation whose sole mission is to grant life changing wishes to children ages 3–18 with critical illnesses.
While realizing our own motorcycle dreams, we are also fulfilling the dreams and wishes of these young children.
